NAME: Bailey, Nina (m. Frederick Edgar Whaley)

 Rites Held today for Mrs. Whaley Funeral services for mrs. Nina Whaley, 80, a lifelong Webster City resident, were held at 2 p.m. today at the Grace United Methodist church with the Rev. A.F. Rau officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery. The body lay in state at the Greenfield memorial Chapel until 10 a.m. when it was taken to the church.
 Mrs. Whaley died Friday evening at her home at 1021 James St.
 Nina Bailey, daughter of Delavan and Mary Bailey, was born Nov. 29, 1889, at Webster City where she received her education and grew to young womanhood.
 She was married Feb. 3, 1909 to Fred Whaley at Clarion, and the couple resided in Webster City where Mr. Whaley was engaged for many years in the plumbing business.
 Surviving are five children: Mrs. Henry (Mildred) Russell of Clarion, Delavan Whaley of Webster City, Mrs. Leslie (Helen) Graham of Webster City, Mrs. Dean (Doris) Nelson, Bricelyn, Minn., and Mrs. Clayton (Maxine) Packard of Webster City; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. C.E. Turner of McMinnville, Ore.
 She was preceded in death by her husband; one daughter, Louise; by three sisters and one brother.
 She was a member of the Grace United Methodist church; the Rebekah lodge and the Women's Relief Corps.

 Whaley rites held Monday Funeral sercies for Mrs. Nina Whaley, 80, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Greace United Methodist church with the Rev. A. E. Rau officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.
 Richard Jones was soloist with Mrs. William Johnson as organist.
 Pallbearers were George Shafer, Duane Rusk, Melford Nicholson, Richard Fort, Wayne Struchen and Chester Nelson.
 Mrs. Whaley died Friday at her home in this city.
