"Mrs. Emma Zeman
 Mrs. Emma Zeman, 92, Chelsea woman, died in Marengo Memorial hospital on Monday, Dec. 31, following brief illness. She was a patient in the hospital four days.
 Scripture reading was held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. in Hrabak Funeral home, Chelsea. Mrs. John Posekany and Mrs. Leonard Formanek were in charge of Mass offerings.
 The funeral Mass was celebrated at 10:00 o'clock Thursday in St. Joseph Catholic church, Chelsea, with Rev. Mel Hemann, the celebrant. Burial was in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery, Chelsea, with the following casketbearers: Leonard Formanek, Leonard Behounek, John Dvorak, John Posekany, Leander Kubu and Frank Kovarik.
 Mary Behounek was orgnist and accompanied vocalists, Frances Waterbury, Evelyn Ryan, Barbara Zmolek and Garnet Upah.
 Mrs. Zeman was born Oct. 23, 1887, near Chelsea, daughter of John and Mary Skarda Behounek and she attended the Wolf rural school, near her home.
 She married James Zeman Jr. on Aug 28, 1906, in St. Joseph Catholic church, Chelsea. The couple farmed near Chelsea, until retiring in 1964. Mrs. Zeman enjoyed gardening and caring for her flowers.
 She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic church and Altar and Rosary Society.
 She is survived by three sons, Fred, LeRoy and Walter, all of Chelsea, one granddaughter, Marilyn Kajer, Tama, four great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, James and Laura Kajer, and Michael Zeman all of Tama; one sister, Mrs. Helen Kovarik, Tama, and several nieces and nephews.
 She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971, five sisters and five brothers.
 The family directs memorials go to the St. Joseph Catholic church memorial fund."
