 Agnes Scott, 74, of Webster City died Tuesday, May 31 at her home. Funeral services will be Friday, June 3 at 11 a.m. att Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Raymond Roden officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster Funeral Home after 5 p.m. tonight until 8:30 a.m. Friday.
 Agnes Josephine Birkestrand, daughter of Charles and Johanna Ostrem Birkestrand, was born May 25, 1914 on a farm near Cambridge. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1931. She was raised from the age of two in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ole Lee of Cambridge, following the death of her mother, and later the death of her father.
 On July 3, 1940, she married Cecil Scott at Trenton, Mo. The couple lived in California, moving to Fort Dodge in 1943 and later resided in Chicago for 5 years. The Scotts then moved to Webster City. She was preceded in death by her husband in November of 1981. She was employed at Hahne Printing for several years and she continuted to reside at 1711 Seneca St.
 Survivors are a step-daughter, Betty Jean (Mrs. Charles) Moore of Walnut, Calif.; two stepgrandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister, Joel Birkestrand of Eldora, Mildred Holland of Huxley, Orville Birkestrand of Mesa, Arz.; nieces and nephews.
 In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Mrs. Scott was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
