Blad, 65, of 1014 Stevens St., who died Sunday [27 Sep 1987] at Covenant Medical Center at Kimball Avenue after a short illness, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Presbyterian Church in Jesup with burial in Old Barclay Cemetery; he worked at Engineered Equipment in Waterloo for 17 years and 10 years at the John Deere Component Works; survivors include his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Carol Noe of Brandon, Mrs. Charlene Bantz of Independence and Mrs. Connie Funke of Jesup; three brothers, Carl of Jesup, Raymond of Ormand Beach, Fla., and Jimmie of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Jean Haskin of Dunkerton; and three grandchildren; he was preceded in death by a sister; friends may call at Parker Funeral Chapel, Jesup, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, where family will accept friends from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m., and at the funeral from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.
