MRS. ALICE LANE DIED THURSDAY
Mrs. Alice Lane, 99, 1801-20th St. died Thursday afternoon at her home.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday from the Methodist Church, Renwick, with burial in the Renwick Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday from the Helser Chapel, collegiate Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Lane was born May 16, 1873, in Shabana, Ill. She came to Ames and made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Mildred Edgar approximately 18 years ago. She belonged to PEO, the Collegiate Presbyterian Church and Tuesday Club.
Survivors include a son, Floyd J. Lane, Renwick; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Edgar, 111 Lynn Ave.; four grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Stevens Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
