FRED COX DIES VERY SUDDENLY, Passed Away Last Saturday Evening While Sitting In Chair At His Home
  Fred M. Cox died very unexpectedly while sitting in a chair at his home last week Saturday. While he had not been in good health for some time, his condition was not considered serious and had made no complaints of not feeling well. He lived on the farm where he was raised to manhood, but had retired from hard work about three years ago. He was born at Jacksonville, New York, Oct. 4, 1866, coming with his parents to Parma, Michigan, when a small boy, later moving to the farm where he passed away Nov. 13, 1946.
 Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Gertrude, one son, Wilson Cox of Detroit, two daughters, Mrs. Elinor Duggan, at home, and Mrs. Betty Schremaer, of Detroit.
 Funeral services were held at ?atience - Montgomery Funeral Home, at Jackson, burial at Fairview cemetery.
