 Ft. Myers, Fla. - Donald Albert Eggspuehler, 80, of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Iowa Falls, died of pneumonia Monday, Feb 12, 2001, in Ft. Myers. Services will be at a later date.
 Don was born Oct. 10, 1920, at Plover, to Florian and Myrtle Heathman Eggspuehler. He graduated from Iowa Falls High School in 1939 and Ellsworth Community College in 1941. He married Eleanor Osgood on March 23, 1943, and later that year enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, flying on several World War II missions throughout Europe. After the war he returned to Iowa Falls and worked for Weaver Construction Company and then enjoyed a 20-year career as a manufacturer's representative supplying exchanges at military bases throughout the Midwest. Don served on the Iowa Falls City Council in 1979, and surpervised the construcion of several homes in River Oaks. He was married to Phyllis Toy of Des Moines for eight years. Music was a very important part of Don's life, and entertained others his lifetime. He had the unique ability of playing the organ and the trumpet at the same time.
 He is survived by four sons, Don Jr., of Richardson, Texas, Jack and wife, Jill, of Ida Grove, Bob and wife, Sue, of Loveland, Colo., and Gary and wife, Kari, of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Julie Latimer, and husband, Tim, of Lake Forest, Calif.; 14 grandchildren; two brothers, Willis "Bill" of Kansas City, Mo., and Jack J. and wife, Joan, of Columbus, Ohio; several nephews and a niece. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Eleanor "Nornie", in 1979; and a daughter-in-law, Linda.
