MRS. M. H. COBBS DEAD
 Mrs. M. H. Cobbs died at her home at Marathon, Monday, August 3rd, after an illness of about ten days, the cause of her death being blood poisoning, brought on by a fall.
 Mayme Hubel was born February 10th, 1881, at Pocahontas, Iowa. She was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Hubel. the greater part of her life was spent in this locality. In March, 1897, she was united in marriage to M. H. Cobbs of Plover. Seven children have come to bless the union, and are left with the husband to mourn the death of a kind and helpful wife and mother. About nine or ten years ago the family moved to Marathon, where Mr. Cobbs has since farmed and engaged in running a rural route.
 Funeral services were held from the home at Marathon Wednesday. Rev. Seward of the M. E. church delivering the sermon. The body was brought to Rolfe by a procession of automobiles, filled with relatives and friends of the departed, and interment made in Clinton cemetery.
